Living in the Moment

Each day presents us with opportunities to be here in the here and now. We spend so much time planning and plotting, we often do not enjoy just being here! Right now. The pleasure I derive from writing and sharing my thoughts, insights learnings, is something I enjoy and value. At this moment I am grateful I have a comfy chair to sit in, my petunias are blooming outside the window, I know how to read and write and do a halfway decent job typing.

This for me is about the moment. Being present and able to see the beauty in this moment. I know the rest of the day is in front of me, and it will bring gifts as it comes. My worrying about later meetings, that I have already prepared for, letting my mind wander while I am speaking with a client, so diminishes the grandness of it all. I am in the here and now and enjoying the moment. I have missed a great deal of moments, when I was not willing to let go of the past or was busy trying to control the future. So I commit to the hear and now...

Mindfulness is the only way we can take back control of our lives. It is so refreshing and rewarding to see and hear people such as yourself assume their rightful place at the throne of their minds and lives.

However many holy words you read, However many you speak, What good will they do you If you do not act on upon them?
