Story Time

Yesterday I was in Barnes and Noble. I happened upon a story telling hour with a bunch of pre-choolers and their moms. What I noticed is that the moms were as enthralled by the story as the little ones. The moms were smiling and enjoying the tale of a trouble making mouse. We all have one of those in our lives right? We all want ot hear stories, we all want to relate the things around us to our selves, we all want to know we are not alone.

So pause today to listen to a story. What are you hearing in that story? What are you connecting to? How can you use that conection to deepen your relationship with the other person and yourself?
